São Paulo Draw Is Out

It hasn't been long since Davis Cup, but the São Paulo draw is out already.

Tough draw for David, drawing Gilles Simon in the second round.

In the first round, David plays against Benoit Paire, who is apparently quite unpredictable, inconsistent and entertaining at times from what I've read on message boards. Though I watched him at the Australian Open against Wawrinka and he just made a massive amount of unforced errors (though might have been having some physical problems in the match).

  1. a 2nd round vs Simon should be interesting to watch, rallies from the baseline, battle of backhands and such...
hope Paire won't surprise David, as long as he manages to bring out a decent serve!

  2. Interesting, hope Paire makes many errors again ;-) or better David plays good.
As I read on Twitter David should be soon on his way to São Paulo!

  3. it should be no problem for David to win the title if he plays like in his last matches.

  4. Didn't Nalby lose to Simon in a very close 3-set match in their last contest?

Talking about his sad loss to Isner, Roger Federer also lost to Isner, so I hope Nalby would treat the loss positively (he really would have won the match and then meet Nadal in Round #4 without the chair umpire's poor decisions), and he will do well in 2012.

Please, no more injuries!!! I hope he would have a chance to win an Olympic (doubles?) medal in London!!!
