It is official now and all over the Argentine news sites, David will play his first match after the injury pause in San Juan. There, the Copa San Juan Minero (as it's now going to be called) will take place on December 12/13 at the Aldo Cantoni stadium. David will be joined by Gaston Gaudio, Guillermo Cañas and Nicolas Massu. This was announced today by Martin Jaite, José Luis Gioja (governor of the San Juan province) and Damián Escobar (president of the San Juan Lawn Tenis Club).

So David will play his first match on December 12. Now we can only hope that it will indeed be shown on TyC Sports and that there will be a stream for it. Fingers crossed...

I don't know... I guess we'll have to wait and see.

It sounds from that quote that they will only telecast the clinic, but surely not because that would be silly.
It would be extremely silly... Probably just a bad, ambiguous phrase.
I guess those "semifinal" matches will be drawn by lot. I'd love to see David play against El Gato.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 7th, at 9pm, "Fox Sports" (TV channel) will televise a special TV programm dedicated to David! I'm not sure but... the most probable is that I will not be able to watch it :( (And, actually, I don't have a VHS recoder :( )
Maybe Julia or anyone can watch it by an internet streaming... I suposse there is a website from were you can watch Fox Sports, but I really don't know :(
Yes Julia...it works....thanks for your help...I did not know about Java script...I agree with you : a match vs Gaudio would be the "revenge" of RG 04 semi final..I can't wait to see him back

And yeah, RG 2004... Incredible that it was the only match David ever played against Gaudio. So it's about time for another match between them.
Tamar, thanks for the hint. I guess there probably is a website where you you watch it but only if you're in Argentina. So unless someone streams it on justin.tv or ustream, chances are I won't be able to watch it either. But I'll try and see if maybe I can find a stream.
