Today is the day David probably doesn't care too much about tennis or his recovery. Today, it's all about football... As Argentina get ready to take on Brazil in a crucial World Cup qualifying match tonight, David has travelled to the city of Rosario to be there at the stadium and watch the match live. There, he did an interview with the Argentine sports channel TyC Sports. A video clip of that interview
can be watched here (sorry, I couldn't embed it). In this clip, David briefly mentions that it's good to back on court again and that he doesn't feel any pain or discomfort. And then he talks about football - but it's worth having a look. Trust me...
(Note: there are four more, older David videos you can watch on that site, the one where he looked rather bloated in his orange sweater but also three other ones plus an interview with his doctor Ruiz-Cotorro.)
Apart from that, I still owe you the photos that Tamar managed to have taken at the press conference for David's foundation (25/08/09). She has allowed me to post them here. So here are the first three she has sent me:

Update - more photos from Tamar...

Thanks Julia and thanks Tamar for the pics :)
I love him in that olive green t-shirt. He looks hot. I think the new look suits him very well ;)
I know I'm supposed to focus on what's he saying but I don't know Spanish so all what's left for me is to drool over him :p
Yeah, he really looks great in that video. In that green shirt. And with the shorter hair...
And I mean, hey, he's talking about football. So why not just drool over him. ;)
I just think it's amazing how he different he looks, in terms of his weight, in that video and in Tamar's pics. It's still all a bit mysterious...
I had the same thought Julia. It's really strange, not only this video and these pics but the previous ones too. Each time he looks different in terms of weight, so mysterious is the right word to describe it!
Glad you agree with me in the drooling part ;)
Thanks Julia and Tamar : yes he's very good looking in that green shirt and I like his new haircut a lot. I can't wait to see him back on ATP tour...
