While David only went to the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona for a training session today, his opponent was decided in the first round match between Juan Carlos Ferrero and Igor Kunitsyn. In the end, it was the Russian who came through, beating Ferrero in two tight sets, 7-5, 7-6(3).
So it will be Kunitsyn for David in his first match (second round).
The date for it has yet to be determined. With more first-round matches due tomorrow, it'll be probably scheduled for Wednesday.

Glad to see Nalby at work. Hope he can improve his serve. Kunitsyn leads Nalby 1-O (he defeated him in L.A 2007). It's time for revenge Dave...
Yeah, I followed that L.A. match on the scorebord. Several breaks in the first. In the second, David served for the set, got broken, lost 3 games in a row and the match.
Sounds familiar, doesn't it...
Very familiar indeed...Nalby plays around 12h00 after Davydenko on court n°1, I don't know if Channelsurfin works ?
I'm not sure if matches are being televised today, Tennis TV isn't showing anything till tomorrow.
I'm going to miss out on even live scoring today and tomorrow (should David prevail) due to work commitments. If he makes it to the quarters and meet Rafa, I can feel a day off coming on ;-)
No stream today. There are a couple of (poor-quality) streams at the moment. But none of those will show Pista 1, where David is playing. So the scoreboard it is, once again. Let's hope it's not a bad omen.
Should David win, I might miss the match tomorrow... But first he has to get there. :)
