I'm surprised David is in Yellow again, although it worked well in the South American clay season. I wish he'd go back to the dark blue like last fall. :)

IS MONFILS INJURED???
(From U.S. Open site):
"Gael Monfils of France, the No. 32 seed and a semifinalist at the French Open earlier this year, took care of qualifier Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, 6-1, winning the last set in a cool 18 minutes. But while the 21-year-old Monfils, one of the most athletic and entertaining players to watch on tour, celebrated his win with an impromptu dance move at the baseline, he appeared to have nagging foot pain throughout the match that raises questions about his health once again at a Grand Slam.

Monfils appeared particular gimpy in the second set when, serving at 3-2, he meandered up to net at one point, only to get passed, walked gingerly between points and was broken. He appeared to play in just third gear, particularly when returning serve, for the rest of the set."

Yep, yellow it is once again...
It's the third different yellow shirt this season. So I guess there's only one explanation - he must love it. Though I'd prefer blue, too. Or basically anything apart from yellow and orange.

About Monfils - we'll have to wait and see. Both he and David will not play again until Thursday, so maybe he'll have enough time to recover.

I'm still tring to find out more, or rather anything at all about Mr. Golubev, David's next opponent...
