On paper, David shouldn't be too troubled in either of his first or second round matches. However, with David, one can never count on that.

Possible later round matches with Almagro and Djokovic would be major challenges but, again, you never know with David. He could struggle against an early opponent and then ride smoothly through these later challenges.

Still, as always, he must win the first match first. Then we'll see.

Well, he could've hardly had more luck, as far as his first match is concerned. Second round also looks quite manageable.
Then possibly Almagro. Who has had a lot of problems with his wrist, lately. And then perhaps Nole. David surely has some sort of "talent" for being drawn in Nole's quarter...
It's true, with David you never know. But I'm glad that he'll play his first match against the world's #598, who's also apparently more of a doubles than a singles player. David really needs a good start. Especially to build up his confidence.
