David still going to Olympics

David with a Busy Schedule
The second semester for King David will be really demanding. After his brief appearance in Wimbledon, the man from Unquillo will try to recover from his physical discomfort which has prevented him from performing at his best level in the circuit. The ones to come are not simple tournaments: from July 21st, he will play in the Masters Series in Canada and Cincinnati (Unites States) on hard courts; from August 11th, he will be player number one in the Argentine Tennis Team in the Olympic Games in Beijing (China); and will cross the world again to play, from August 25th ,the fourth and last Grand Slam of the season, the US Open played on hard courts in the Flushing Meadows. On September 19th, 20th and 21st, he will be part of the Argentine team to play the semifinals of the Davis Cup against the powerful Russian team. This is what is called the schedule of a champion.

Very mixed messages here. On the one hand there is this "physical discomfort" and on the other hand there is boasting of the busy "schedule of a champion".

But in any case, it seems pretty clear that he's heading to Beijing for the Olympic Games in August.

I'd rather call it the schedule of a healthy player...
So he's taking the next two weeks off. Thought he would, anyway.
After that - busy times, indeed. Those back to back Masters events are always tough. And then the Olympics... At least, I'll be able to watch Rogers Cup and Cincy (AMS TV, thank goodness). I guess, we'll just have to wait and see what happens. If he's fit again. Or at least better...
